SeekOut is available as an agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot. You interact with SeekOut by opening the agent — a regular Copilot chat does not use SeekOut on its own.

Prerequisites

  • An active SeekOut account
  • Access to Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat

Setup

1

Open the SeekOut agent

Use the direct link, or in Copilot go to Agents → More agents, find SeekOut, and select Open.
2

Select the "Think deeper" response mode

Select Think deeper instead of Auto. Auto can give unreliable answers when using the SeekOut agent.
3

Start using the SeekOut agent

In the SeekOut agent, enter your request. If you start from another Copilot conversation, invoke the agent with @SeekOut:

@SeekOut find senior UX designers in New York.

4

Sign in to SeekOut when prompted

When Copilot prompts you on first use, sign in with your SeekOut account to authorize the connection.
If the direct link doesn’t work, search for the SeekOut agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot and open it from the search results.

Troubleshooting

The Add button for the SeekOut agent is grayed out

Your Microsoft 365 administrator may need to approve the SeekOut agent before users can add it. Ask your administrator to allow the agent in the Microsoft 365 admin center, then try adding it again.

A new Copilot chat doesn’t use SeekOut

A regular Copilot chat does not automatically invoke SeekOut. Open Agents → More agents → SeekOut and select Open, or invoke the agent with @SeekOut.

Answers are unreliable or incorrect

Make sure the Think deeper response mode is selected instead of Auto. Auto can produce unreliable answers when using the SeekOut agent.
