Desktop, CLI, and developer tools

Copy a setup prompt and paste it into your assistant. Codex or Claude Code will add SeekOut MCP to its local configuration and guide you through sign-in. You need a SeekOut Recruit license and a local session that can edit files.

Codex

Paste this into a local task in the Codex desktop app or CLI:

Add SeekOut MCP to my Codex configuration, preserve my other settings, and help me sign in.

The prompt updates your Codex config.toml, preserves your other settings, and starts OAuth sign-in when available. Complete the browser sign-in, then restart Codex or open a new task if requested. See the Codex guide for manual setup and troubleshooting.

Claude Code

Paste this into a local Code session in Claude Desktop or the Claude Code CLI:

Add SeekOut MCP to my Claude Code configuration, preserve my other settings, and help me sign in.

The prompt updates your Claude Code user configuration so SeekOut is available across projects. After saving, restart the session if requested, enter /mcp, and authenticate seekout-search. See the Claude Code guide for manual setup and troubleshooting.

Claude Desktop and Claude.ai

Connect Claude

Add SeekOut as a custom connector for Claude chat, then sign in with your SeekOut account.

Gemini CLI

Gemini CLI supports MCP with automatic OAuth discovery. See the Gemini CLI guide for sign-in and troubleshooting.

Antigravity

Antigravity’s app, IDE, and CLI share one MCP configuration at ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json, and it requires the serverUrl key rather than url. See the Antigravity guide for the settings path and sign-in.

Desktop apps and other clients

Use a client that supports Streamable HTTP and OAuth discovery. Enter these connection details using your client’s setup guide:

Server URL: https://seekout-search-mcp.seekout.io/tools
Transport:  Streamable HTTP
Auth:       OAuth 2.1 (automatic via MCP protocol)

Configuration formats vary by client, and several expect a different key for the same URL: most use url, VS Code uses url with "type": "http", Gemini CLI uses httpUrl, and Antigravity uses serverUrl. Use the dedicated Codex, Claude Code, Claude, Cursor, Gemini CLI, or Antigravity guide for those apps. After saving, complete the browser sign-in and open a new session. Ask your assistant to use SeekOut to check your remaining credits to verify it can call a tool.
